As part of its Inquiry 2016 activities, Lebanon Valley College recognized students at the Spring Awards and Recognition Ceremony for academic achievement in the natural sciences, social sciences, or humanities.

Elizabethtown College Chemistry Department awarded the following awards.

Lebanon Valley College recognizes Gold Community Service Award recipients, who have served more than 100 hours, and have completed a multi-day residential service project.

Nearly 200 Lebanon Valley College undergraduates–a record-breaking amount–from every academic department displayed their work to an audience of faculty, peers, trustees, administrators, industry reps, and friends of the College during the annual Inquiry Symposium held on April 14 in Sorrentino Gymnasium.

Lebanon Valley College recently inducted 16 students into Gamma Sigma Epsilon, the national chemistry honor society, as part of its Inquiry 2016 celebration.

Lebanon Valley College has recognized more than 140 of its first-year students for making an impact on campus as a new student. The Celebration of Student Success reception, held Monday, April 4 in Mund College Center, honored the student's achievement.

Lebanon Valley College is pleased to announce that the following students have enrolled at The Valley for the Fall 2016 semester.

First-year Elizabethtown College students, who have maintained a GPA of 3.5 or higher and are in the top 20 percent of their class, are invited to become members of Alpha Lambda Delta, a national organization founded in 1924. The mission of Alpha Lambda Delta is to encourage superior academic achievement, promote intelligent living and a continued high standard of learning, and to assist students in recognizing and developing meaningful goals for their unique roles in society.

Lebanon Valley College inducted 51 students to its Phi Alpha Epsilon honor society on April 3, 2016, as part of Inquiry 2016. Membership is limited to senior students who have achieved a 3.6 GPA, completed 24 credits of LVC coursework, and earned a bronze, silver, or gold community service award.

Lebanon Valley College students get the chance to play college sports at a high level while pursuing their intellectual and career goals, and enjoying other interests. While competing for conference championships and earning national rankings, our student-athletes have the flexibility to double major, study abroad, and pursue internships--opportunities that will inform their lives long after their playing careers end.

Emergent Scholars at Elizabethtown College have attained at least a 3.75 cumulative grade point average at the end of their first three semesters. Qualified for the honor are full-time students who have not previously attended another college or university for full-time study and have earned at least 42 credits in the three consecutive semesters as a student at Elizabethtown College or one of its affiliated programs. Nine Lebanon Valley College student proposals are one step closer to implementation thanks to inaugural Student Innovation Fund grants announced by LVC President Dr. Lewis E. Thayne. Nine grants were awarded to 20 students for projects ranging from sustainability and outdoor appreciation to student programming and the arts.

Nearly 250 Albright College students were named to the Dean's List for academic achievement for the 2015 fall semester.

Elizabethtown (Pa.) College announced the names of students whose outstanding academic performances have earned them the recognition of being included on the fall 2015 dean's list. Students on the dean's list are full-time undergraduate students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.60 or better in 14 or more credit hours, of which at least 12 credits are letter-graded course work.

Twenty Lebanon Valley College students travel to Washington, D.C. as part of the 2016 Social Justice Institute, a leadership institute that allows students to explore how oppression impacts true equality.

The following students have been named to the Central Penn College Dean's List for the winter 2015 term.

Lebanon Valley College has announced its Dean's List recipients for the fall 2015 semester. Dean's list students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.

More than 295 students graduated from York College of Pennsylvania on Dec. 22.

Nearly 30 Lebanon Valley College students recently attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County Undergraduate Research Symposium in the Chemical and Biological Sciences. Twenty-two students presented their research, with several receiving awards.

Approximately 600 candidates for graduation were eligible to walk in Coastal Carolina University's fall 2015 commencement ceremonies. South Carolina state superintendent of education Molly M. Spearman advised the Class of 2015 not to forget their roots as they go forward in their lives and careers.

Students spent part of the Spring 2015 semester at Lebanon Valley College translating a physical therapy children's book into different languages. The book, "Sammy's Physical Therapy Adventure" had previously been created by Dr. Michael Fink, associate professor of physical therapy, with the assistance of LVC students.

Albright College welcomes more than 1,730 undergraduate students for the 2015-16 academic year.

Twenty-two Lebanon Valley College students are spending the fall 2015 semester studying away as part of the College's study abroad program, which includes 12 foreign countries and two stateside internship opportunities.

Student Government, comprised of 36 full-time students, is tasked with fostering understanding, communication, and cooperation among students, faculty, and administrators.

Lebanon Valley College welcomes its Legacy enrollees as part of the incoming Class of 2019. Legacy students - children of Lebanon Valley College graduates - receive a $2,500 scholarship each year.
