Lebanon Valley College's 145th Commencement Exercises May 10 graduated 523 students, who received their degrees in the LVC Gymnasium. The 416 graduating seniors were joined by 29 doctor of physical therapy candidates, 78 master's degree candidates, and 31 students who graduated in December 2013 and have now formally received their degrees.

Students earn numerous awards for academic achievement, outstanding service, and good character during York College's annual Student Recognition Ceremony.

A number of York College students are named annually to Who's Who Among Students in Universities and Colleges.

As part of its Inquiry 2014 activities, Lebanon Valley College recognized students at the Spring Awards and Recognition Ceremony on April 10 for academic achievement in the natural sciences, social sciences, or humanities.

Lebanon Valley College students have elected a new slate of leadership for Student Government for the 2014-2015 academic year.

Lebanon Valley College has recognized 150 of its first-year students for making an impact on campus as a new student. The Celebration of Student Success reception, held Feb. 19 in Mund College Center, honored the student's achievement.

Kutztown University has confirmed the graduation of 441 students. Commencement exercises were held Dec. 14; however, students had until the end of the winter session in January to complete all graduation requirements.

Lebanon Valley College inducted 162 students into 16 different academic honor societies as part of its Inquiry 2014 celebration.

Elizabethtown (Pa.) College announced the names of students whose outstanding academic performances have earned them the recognition of being included on the fall 2013 dean's list. The following students from your area are included on this list:

Lebanon Valley College named 658 undergraduates to its Dean's List. The students maintained a 3.4 average out of a possible 4.0.

Over 1400 students were named to the Dean's List at York College of Pennsylvania. To be eligible for this honor, a student must be registered for at least 12 academic credit hours and earn a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Nearly 300 students graduated from York College of Pennsylvania on Dec. 18.

Lebanon Valley College recognizes the 53 students serving as Valley Ambassadors. Valley Ambassadors provide tours for prospective students and their families.

Elizabethtown College recognized the accomplishments of its School of Continuing and Professional Studies students. The following local students received degrees from the College in August 2013.

Student Government is comprised of 36 full-time students. One of the Government's major responsibilities is to foster understanding, communication, and cooperation among students, faculty, and administrators.

Wilkes University awarded 374 doctoral, master's and bachelor's degrees at the summer commencement ceremony held on Sept. 8 in the Arnaud C. Marts Sports and Conference Center.

Lebanon Valley College welcomed 482 new freshmen and transfer students to its beautiful Annville campus in August 2013, bringing total undergraduate enrollment to an all-time high of 1,648 students.

A total of 154 Mansfield University students have been named to to spring 2013 President's List. To be named to the President's List, a student must attend the university full-time and attain at least a 4.0 QPA for the semester. The following area students earned the honor:

Bob Jones University recently announced the latest recipients of the BJU Academic Excellence and Leadership Award. The Academic Excellence and Leadership Award recognizes student leaders who achieve an ACT score above 25 before entering college and maintain a 3.2 GPA during their college years. The award provides up to $1,500 per year, for a maximum of $6,000 over eight semesters.
