Lebanon Valley College congratulates 700 students named to the Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester. Dean's list students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.

Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania has recently released its list of students named to the Dean's List for the fall semester of the 2018-19 academic year. To qualify for Dean's List, a student must earn a quality point average of 3.5 or higher (based on 4.0) during the semester.

Slippery Rock University has announced its dean's list for the fall 2018 semester. The dean's list consists of SRU undergraduate students who earned an adjusted semester grade-point average of 3.5 or higher, based on a schedule of at least 12 newly attempted and earned credits.

Over 1500 students were named to the Dean's List at York College of Pennsylvania. To be eligible for this honor, a student must be registered for at least 12 academic credit hours and earn a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Lebanon Valley College is pleased to announce that the following students have been accepted for admission at The Valley.

The James Madison University marching band, the Marching Royal Dukes, will be marching in the 92nd annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, their fourth appearance in the holiday classic. Marching 535 strong, the Marching Royal Dukes are the largest in the parade and one of only three college bands invited.

Dr. Daniel Greenstein, the fifth chancellor of Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education, visited East Stroudsburg University on Friday, November 2 to talk to constituents about the opportunities and challenges facing the University and the State System. Chancellor Greenstein toured the ESU Innovation Center and met with ESU President, Marcia G. Welsh, Ph.D.; vice presidents, academic deans, student leaders, faculty and staff leaders, and the ESU Council of Trustees. Chancellor Greenstein also held an open forum with the campus community and the community at large. Students from Lebanon Valley College presented research in the areas of biology, chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology and cell biology at the 20th Undergraduate Research Symposium in the Chemical and Biological Sciences at UMBC in October.

Thirty-two Lebanon Valley College science and business students collaborated on the production and marketing of this year's Flying Dutchmen Ale, which was revealed during Homecoming Weekend 2018.

The Sophomore Expedition is a guaranteed study abroad program. In the spring semester of their sophomore year, students participate in a series of classes to prepare them for the trip. Then they spend 8-10 days traveling as a class to an international destination where they participate in a number of service activites.

At Gettysburg, students use the opportunity to study globally to pursue diverse paths in multiple areas of study. Over 130 students studied globally in the Spring 2018 semester, representing over 25 majors in over 25 countries.

Wilkes University welcomes nearly 700 first year students who make up the University's newest class.

Nearly 40 Lebanon Valley College students presented their scientific work at the annual Disappearing Boundaries Summer Research Meeting held in July at Albright College.

During summer 2018, more than 150 undergraduate students at Wilkes University were engaged in research. Working with faculty on meaningful research is one of the hallmarks of a Wilkes education. Students at Wilkes have all of the educational opportunities of a large university in the mentoring culture of a small college.

The dean's list for the spring 2018 semester at the University of Findlay has been announced.

Kutztown University has conferred degrees on more than 1,225 students during the winter and spring semesters. Kutztown University announces degree conferment twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. Commencement exercises are held in May and December; however, students finish the requirements for graduation throughout the entire year. The cumulative grade point average necessary for honor distinction is: with honor (cum laude) 3.40; with high honor (magna cum laude) 3.60 and with highest honor (summa cum laude) 3.80.

Students with a term GPA of 3.50 or higher were recognized for their academic achievement and named to Dean's List for Spring 2018.

Nearly 1,700 students have been named to the Spring 2018 Dean's List at Kutztown University. To be eligible for the Dean's List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

Nearly 200 Lebanon Valley College student-athletes were named to the Middle Atlantic Conference's (MAC) Winter and Spring Academic Honor Roll, emphasizing the Flying Dutchmen's commitment to classroom success. Twelve Dutchmen also were named to the Academic All-MAC teams.

Wilkes University Provost Dr. Anne Skleder announced the Dean's List for the spring 2018 semester.

Muhlenberg College celebrated its 170th Commencement on May 18, 2018. During the ceremony, which was held on the College Green, 511 students were awarded their undergraduate degrees.

The Class of 2018 graduated in Elizabethtown College's 115th commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 19. Kwame Anthony Akroma-Ampim Kusi Appiah, weekly columnist for The New York Times Magazine, was the speaker.

James Madison University is pleased to announce the names of the students who made the dean's list for the spring 2018 semester. Students who earn dean's list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899.

A total of 1,621 students have been named to the Dean's List at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) for the Spring 2018 semester of the 2017-2018 academic year, according to Joanne Bruno, J.D., provost and vice president for academic affairs. Students eligible for the Dean's List are those who have attained a 3.50 quality point average or better and are enrolled full-time. The letter grade "B" earns 3 quality points per credit, and the grade "A" earns 4 quality points per credit.

Elizabethtown (Pa.) College announced the names of students whose outstanding academic performances have earned them the recognition of being included on the spring 2018 dean's list. Students on the dean's list are full-time undergraduate students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.60 or better in 14 or more credit hours, of which at least 12 credits are letter-graded course work.

Lebanon Valley College recognized more than 200 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen during the spring sports season.
